The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will decide Morocco’s fate in the qualifiers for the 2017 Orange Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) during next week’s congress in Cairo.
Morocco were suspended from the2017 and 2019 editions of the AFCON after they failed to host the 2015 event because of their fears of the outbreak of Ebola in some parts of Africa.
But the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Thursday overturned CAF’s ban on the North African country.
CAF’s director of communications, Junior Binyam, said that the matter will be discussed during the body’s annual general meeting in Cairo.

“There are many meetings to be held before the way forward is known,” he told BBC Sport.
“Let’s see what will happen. The draw is supposed to take place on April 8.”
