The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has imposed a five-year ban on Chris Giwa, factional president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The sanction, which was also extended to four other members of Giwa’s faction, confirmed an earlier ban placed on them by the Amaju Pinnick- led faction of the NFF.

The four are: Muazu Suleyman, Yahya Adama, Sanni Fema and Johnson Effiong.

CAF made its decision known in a letter signed by Hicham El Amrani, its secretary-general.
