Cameroon hold Nigeria to goalless draw in CHAN warm-up

Cameroon held Nigeria to a goalless draw in a warm-up friendly ahead of the 2018 African Nations Championship.

A full-strength Nigerian side, which included Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Rabiu Ali and Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, were unable to break down the determined and physical Indomitable Lions.

The Cameronians almost won it in injury time but substitute goalkeeper Oladele Ajiboye produced a world-class save to earn Nigeria a point.

Although unable to make a statement with a victory, the Nigerian team will take positives from the possession football they exhibited in the second half.

The home-based Eagles will start their campaign against Rwanda at the Stade Ibn Batouta on Monday, January 15.
