The Centre for Public Trust, a non-profit organisation that promotes democratic accountability in Nigeria, has congratulated Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the immediate past minister of transportation, on his call to the bar as barrister and solicitor of the supreme court of Nigeria.
In a statement released by Salisu Mohammed, interim executive secretary, the organisation expressed joy and celebration for Amaechi’s achievement in fulfilling his father’s dream for him to become a lawyer.
“As a leader who has left an enduring legacy of infrastructural development across the country and has consistently demonstrated patriotism and unwavering commitment to public service, the statement reads”
The group acknowledged Amaechi’s proven track record and leadership qualities, describing him as ”a compassionate leader with much to offer to Nigeria.”

”In light of this significant accomplishment, the Centre for Public Trust sends its best wishes to Amaechi, praying for God’s wisdom and protection in his new legal journey.
The organisation has also planned to organise a special reception for Amaechi in Abuja following the formal event, expressing gratitude for his continued “contributions to the nation.”
