Osas Okoro says “victory is non-negotiable” when the home-based Eagles face Equatorial Guinea in the final Group C match of the African Nations Championship.
The home-based Eagles will qualify for the quarter-final of the competition if they defeat the Central African side.
Okoro, a key player in the team, is hopeful that his side can seal the win.
“We’re not going there to lose, we’re going there to win,” Okoro told TheCable.

“If you try to get cautious, then the first thing that comes to your mind is to lose and that won’t happen.
“Equatorial Guinea have a decent team despite losing their first two games.
“They have players of great potential, they are very good in attack and we know it will be difficult to score against them.

“However, we go there with the intention of winning the game for we know Victory is non-negotiable.
“We are going to try to be compact and not leave much space, to then harm them on the counter-attack and in a continuous way.
Kickoff is 8pm on Tuesday.
