Chelsea to face Liverpool on opening day of 2023/24 EPL season

Chelsea will host Liverpool on the opening day of the 2023/24 English Premier League (EPL) season.

The Premier League released the fixtures on Thursday, with all 360 matches across 38 weeks listed.

Both Chelsea and Liverpool, seeking redemption after finishing below expectations last season, will look to make a statement when they meet at Stamford Bridge on the first weekend of the season.

The other top six sides were handed relatively easier matchups on the opening weekend.

Arsenal, who led the EPL table for the most part of last season, will begin another shot at the title by hosting Taiwo Awoniyi’s Nottingham Forest.
