Chinedu Ubachukwu wins N10m Gulder Ultimate Search

Chinedu Ubachukwu has beaten two other finalists, Cossy Joe and Afolabi Emmanuel, to the grand prize of the Gulder Ultimate Search season 11, which ended Thursday night.

After 26 days in the jungle of Aguleri, Anambra state, the 24-year-old graduate of petroleum and gas engineering from the University of Port Harcourt successfully completed the final task of retrieving the general’s war helmet, a symbol of this year’s search tagged ‘The Mission’.

“After 26 murderous days in the Aguleri jungle, after days and nights of pain and sorrow thinking about the unknown, nursing your wounds with sweat, with blood, it is you Chinedu who made it here,” Chidi Mokeme, anchorman of the show, said while congratulating Ubachukwu on his achievement.

” It is you who has carved your name in history. It is you who has earned the bragging rights. It is you who has made it into the elite league of extraordinary warriors. By the powers conferred on me by the council of elders, I now pronounce you last man standing!”
