Less than a day after dropping the video of her single, Prokoto, Chocolate City’s first lady, Victoria Kimani, seems unhappy with the “lack of support” from the Tanzanian artistes who featured in the song.
Tanzania bongo stars Diamond Platnumz and Ommy Dimpoz are not the only ones she is out for, as she also calls out the djs and vjs probably for not giving enough airtime to her song.
Taking a look at the two featured artistes social media pages, one can see Victoria’s reason for this public venting. There is no sight of anything related to the song or anything showing their support for Victoria, despite featuring in it.
One can tell exactly how Kenyan music star, Victoria, feels from the pictures and short videos she shared on her Instagram page. One of the pictures had a drawing of a hand giving the middle finger, which is generally considered an offensive way of telling someone off.

Shariing one of the videos, she wrote: “Are we so blind that we cannot see our own Power ? Are we so in denial that we cannot recognise our weaknesses? Are we so filled with hatred for our own that we cannot even support a track that we featured in? DJ’s and VJ’s…..Do you know how you look right now? Are we so small-minded of a people that we jump to support a people who care nothing for us?
“Are we so insecure about ourselves that we have to steal and sabotage one another just to satisfy our selfish desires? Do you really think the horse you’re riding on will never give in? Do you really believe you are bigger than God? Do you know that the things you do to display strength are actually vibrant signs of weakness? Can we emancipate our minds and grow? Am I wrong for thinking that we ( East Africans ) Can actually come together in unity and create something great? Do you know how you look right now? Hmmm… A PROKOTO East African Story …. STILL I RISE”.
It is not clear if there is any unresolved issue between Victoria and the artistes, but some djs defended themselves in the comment box.
