Chris Jemitola, an ex-aide-de-camp (ADC) to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, is dead.
Jemitola died on Thursday after collapsing at the IBB golf club in Asokoro, Abuja.
The retired major general was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Edward Buba, director of defence media operations, confirmed Jemitola’s passing to TheCable.

He hailed from Ososo in Akoko Edo LGA of Edo state.
Jemitola served as ADC to Obasanjo from 2003 to 2007 as a colonel. He also served as the director of public relations of the Nigerian Army.
He once filled the role of chief of policy and plans (COPP) in the army.

After his retirement, he served as the senior advisor for military communications at Pinnacle Communications Limited.
