Christmas: Remo Stars donate food items to Ogun community

The management and players of Remo Stars FC have distributed food items to fans of the club in its local community in Ogun state.

In a statement shared on Sunday, the club management said they carried out the philanthropic act as a show of gratitude for the fans’ “unwavering support throughout the year” and celebration of the festive period.

The Ikenne-based club shared bags of rice, garri, bottles of groundnut oil, and packs of chicken to members of the community.

In now-viral footage, the players and officials were seen lifting and distributing the items around the community.

“It’s a season of love and kindness, and we’ve chosen to seize this moment to extend our hands of love to our fans and the community who’ve been with us throughout the year. They bought tickets and cheered for us, and we are sincerely grateful for such gestures,” he said.
