Enoch Olaoluwa Adegoke and Seye Ogunlewe have qualified for the final of the men’s 100m at the Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Adegoke staved off the challenge of South Africa’s Henrico Bruintie to make it through.
Ogunleye, national champion, successfully pushed for a place in the final with his season-best record of 10:20secs.
For Egwero Ogho-Oghene, it was a tough semi-final outing as he faced stiff competition from Jamaica’s Yohan Blake and Britain’s Adam Gemili.

With a time of 10:43secs, Egwerro could only manage to finish sixth as he crashed out of the Commonwealth Games.
In the women’s 100m race, Isoken Igbinosun, Nigeria’s 100m national champion, and Jenifer Madu failed to qualify for the final.
In the third semi-final race, 18-year old Joy Udo-Gabriel also missed out of a place in the final after finishing fourth with a time of 11:53secs.
