There was commotion at a new generation bank in Calabar, Cross River state capital on Tuesday, following a clash between a soldier and four mobile policemen.
According to THE NATION, the incident which occurred around 11am led to a disruption of activities in the bank.
A canister of tear gas was said to have been shot inside the banking hall filled with customers, leading to pandemonium. People reportedly fled the burning sensation.
More armed mobile and regular policemen were also said to have stormed the bank, demanding for the soldier, while a contingent of soldiers also landed, shooting sporadically into the air, as on looking bystanders and passersby scuttled to safety.

After a while they all got inside the bank, to sort the issue, after which they got out and left in their vehicles.
