Core TV News, a 24-hour cable channel, is now live on the newly launched Abuja digital terrestrial, its management said in a statement on Friday.
The Abuja digital switch-over was formally launched on Thursday by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, who stood in for President Muhammadu Buhari.
Olajide Adediran, the group managing director of Core TV News, promised that the channel will “continue to beam balanced news and news features, quality programmes that touch on the socio-economic and political fabrics of our great nation and all black people universally.
“Core TV News will remain a voice for the voiceless with our programmes such as news on the hour, The People, Legalscope, From the Villa and Gavel to Gavel — and, of course, the most complete breakfast programme on TV, Core Digest.”

Adediran said Core TV will, in the new year, launch on the Multichoice platforms of GOtv and the DStv.
