Cote d’ Ivoire beat Super Eagles in Abu Dhabi

Super Eagles B team lost 1-0 to Cote d’Ivoire in Abu Dhabi on Sunday thanks to a late goal from Salomon Kalou.

The 1992 Africa Cup of Nations champions used the match as a build-up to the 2015 edition of the competition and they won with an 84th minute goal from the former Chelsea forward.

Cote d’Ivoire fielded a strong side and even African Footballer of the Year, Yaya Toure, got a berth in the midfield.

AS Roma winger, Gervinho came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 27th minute when he beat the Eagles’ defence but  was denied by goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim.
