“To our dismay, it sound so appaling and shocker when the Caretaker Chairman Alh. Moh’d Daji Wakili was consulted on the issue.

“Regrettably, below are the negative and very catastrophic remarks by the chairman as quoted: ‘Let me be sincere to you all, sequel to the strong political logger head currently existing between his excellency governor, and the two federal lawmakers namely Sen. Nazief Suleiman, and Hon. IMBA, as long as I remained the chairman of this local government. Any project sourced or sponsored by any of the above mentioned politicians to entire Katagum  LGA, I will personally rent up to 10 bulldozers to demolished it, I repeat, anywhere.’

They said Wakili said the funds could be “arms deal money, or even Boko Haram money.”

“I am boldly telling you that your request cannot be considered, not to talk of approval. Simple. The governor hates them, and rejects anything from them. So people, stop wasting your good time, go to your Reps and ask him to dedicate his personal house to be used as location for the so called project,” Wakili was quoted saying.
