A federal capital territory (FCT) high court has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognise Christopher Imumolen as the national chairman of the Accord Party (AP).
Imumolen was the presidential candidate of the AP in the 2023 elections.
M.M. Adamu, the presiding judge, gave the order on Friday pending the hearing and determination of a suit filed by Imumolen and 12 other officials of the party against Maxwell Mgbudem and 13 others.
The judge also restrained the defendants from parading themselves as national executives of the party and should not conduct any state and local government congress pending the determination of the substantive suit before the court.
