The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 60 new coronavirus infections across nine states on Saturday.
With this figure, a total of 471 infections have been confirmed over the past seven days.
Lagos, the hardest-hit state, recorded the highest number of new positive samples with 22 cases, followed by Rivers and Bayelsa with 15 and seven fresh infections, respectively.
Other states with new COVID-19 cases on Saturday are as follows: Kaduna (5), Ogun (4), Akwa Ibom (3), Osun (2), Kano (1) and Ebonyi (1).

The agency reported zero deaths on Saturday which keeps the COVID-19 fatality toll at 2,061.
However, 21 patients were confirmed to have been discharged across the country on Saturday.
A total of 164,207 coronavirus cases have now been confirmed across the country, out of which 154,325 patients have recovered, while there are currently 7,821 active cases.
