Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), says services will hold on Sunday as scheduled at two branches in Abuja.
This is despite a restriction placed on social gatherings and worship centres by the federal capital territory to avoid endangering the lives of people in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
In a post on his Instagram page, Fatoyinbo assured members that the services would be held in a “clean, hygienic and safe atmosphere”.
“We are geared up to excitedly receive you tomorrow 22nd of March by 7:30am at our #CentrePointCampus, Evelyn Event Centre, Gwarinpa,” he wrote.

“Worshippers can be assured of our unwavering commitment to a clean and conducive environment for service. Your safety is paramount to us and we are complying with the directives of the FCT administration by ensuring:
- Temperatures are measured using electronic thermometers
- Availability of alcohol-based sanitizers
- A considerable space between worshippers
- Effective airflow systems
- Above all, the blood of Jesus serves us from this pestilence.”
According to the posts on the pastor’s Instagram page, the church is scheduled to hold services in two locations in Abuja.
