The Group Corporate Communication and Events Manager, Temitope Ashiwaju said,

“What we are trying to achieve is, to engage with the children. This process starts, over a period of 2 months beginning over the holidays where we engage the children in their schools. We make sure that they team up with either their parents or their art teachers to create some of these artworks that you see here today. We are also teaching them that waste can be transformed to wealth. Some of these things would ordinarily have just been disposed, but instead they have been put together to create the artworks that we are witnessing here today. And, of course, some of the artworks will be auctioned, allowing the children, their parents, or teachers to benefit from the proceeds. That’s what we are trying to encourage.”

The Fan Club Coordinator, Faith Joshua explained that the Indomie Team Yourself Up was specifically designed to ensure bonding amongst children and their guardians, hence the reason for the name “Team Yourself Up”.

“We are also encouraging recycling. Instead of just throwing the cartons, the children are encouraged to keep their Indomie Noodles cartons, make something out of it, and win prizes! We are encouraging recycling. We’re encouraging team bonding. We’re also encouraging creativity. We tell them to ‘dream it and craft it’,” she said.

The Indomie Mobile Kitchen was also present to serve everyone present bowls of steaming Indomie Instant Noodles.

As a reward for their participation, Gaurav Dwivedi, the CEO of Sales and Marketing at Dufil Prima Foods, announced that all children whose artworks were displayed would receive five cartons of Indomie each.
