Steven Gerrard made his farewell Anfield appearance as Liverpool suffered a 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in the Barclays Premier League.

At Upton Park, Everton came from behind to beat West Ham 2-1 through Leon Osman and Romelu Lukaku after Stewart Downing had given the Hammers a 62nd minute lead at Upton Park.
