The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has declared two officers wanted over their alleged role in clearing of the ammunition-laden container discovered along Mile 2, Apapa road, Lagos.
On Monday, the agency intercepted a truck containing 661 illegal pump-action rifles.
Hameed Ali, NCS comptroller general, had vowed that the officers who cleared the 40-foot container where the weapons were found, would be punished.
Customs later issued a statement, declaring Abdullahi I, with service number 44483 ASC, and Odiba Haruna Inah, with service number 133386, wanted.
