On Day 6, Team Nigeria failed to add any medal to their haul at the 2022 Commonwealth Games despite participating in four finals.

The Nigerian athletes will be hoping to swing their fortune around on Day 7 when Goodness Nwachukwu files out for the women’s E42.44/61.64 discus throw final in the evening.

All eyes will also be on Favour Ofili, women’s 200 meters national record holder, when the heats of the event commence.

Udodi Chudi Onwuzurike will be hoping to repeat the performance that earned him gold at the 2021 U20 World Athletic Championships.
