Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chair of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), has disclosed the identity of a Canada-based woman who allegedly threatened to kill fellow Nigerians living in the country.

In a TikTok live video clip, a woman with Anyi_Anambra7 as her user ID and account @ehizele123 is heard speaking mainly in Pidgin English.

The virtual meeting had slightly over a hundred people in attendance.

“Record me, it’s time to start poisoning the meals of the Yorubas and Benin people, poison their food and drinks at work so they can begin to die one by one,” she said.

“You won’t all die at once, you’ll get sick first. I will put pesticides in your water and food. It will not be well with you. The hate in your hearts will last forever.

“If I go to work tomorrow, I will put it (rat poison) in the Yoruba people’s food. Go and tell the government, I am in Ontario, Canada. Hurry.

“Soon, you will hear that the Yorubas and Benin people have died. I said it. I want Igbo people to be wicked, you are too soft-hearted. Enough is enough. If you have a means of killing them, kill them because they are of no use to the society.”

TheCable translated the speaker’s speech from Pidgin to English.

Most people in the audience cheered her on. However, an X user shared the video describing it as “disturbing”.

Dabiri-Erewa said a group of Nigerians in Canada are reporting the woman to the relevant authorities.

“This is the picture of the lady behind the voice. Amaka Patience Sunnberger. She has deleted her TikTok account and a group of Nigerians in Canada are reporting her officially to the relevant authorities in Canada. Thanks for alerting everyone,” she tweeted.

Checks by TheCable showed that the said account is still active on TikTok but has been turned private.
