Damilola Otubanjo, the special adviser to Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun on water resources, says the state government is committed to revitalising water infrastructure.
During an infrastructural assessment tour of Remo, Odogbolu, and the surrounding areas, Otubanjo said Abiodun is focused on addressing critical water management challenges in Ogun state.
She said the government is putting in place necessary measures to replace outdated infrastructure and overcome funding and logistical constraints.
“Many of our water infrastructure facilities are not functioning optimally, and there are concerns regarding the inadequate utilisation of available funding,” she said.
