Dare condoles Dalung over loss of son

Sunday Dare, minister of youth and sports development, on Monday, consoled Solomon Dalung, his immediate predecessor, on the passing of his son.

It was gathered that the late 33-year-old Nehemiah was bedridden with an unknown ailment before the announcement of his death in the early hours of Monday,

In a letter dated October 24, 2022, and personally signed by Dare, the minister expressed a “deep sense of shock” at Nehemiah’s demise.

“Please be assured of my deepest condolences at this time of great sorrow. The loss of a child is a knife that cuts very deep and one can barely imagine how you must feel right now,” the letter reads.

“On behalf of my family and the entire staff and management of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, I say we share in your grief and pray that the almighty God consoles you and the entire Dalung family.

“May Nehemiah’s soul find eternal rest in the blossom of our Lord. Amen.”
