It appears as though Davido, Nigerian singer and pop star who was born David Adeleke, is now richer by N100 million.
The Babcock university graduate announced a two-year deal with Pepsi few days ago on his social media account, joining colleagues like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Di’Ja, who are already ambassadors of the brand.
The details of the contract were not released at the time of the announcement, but the 23-year-old artiste revealed some information on his Snapchat account.
While having a disagreement with his HKN record label mates, Davido took to his SnapChat account and wrote “Just signed with Pepsi for a 100 million, was gonna buy everyone new cars smh.”

The father-of-one did not mention the name of the person whom the tweet was directed at.
The Pepsi deal is the second endorsement deal the Dami Duro crooner is getting in 2016, the first being the $1 million deal with Sony Music Entertainment in January.
Adeleke began his musical career in 2011 with his debut hit single Dami Duro and has released several hit tracks since then.
