Davido: I postponed my album launch because of fuel scarcity

In a video interview with on nojustok.com, Davido, the fresh music graduate, revealed why his album was postponed indefinitely.

“Should I be honest with you? Fuel scarcity and I’m being honest… because of the fuel scarcity, I didn’t even want to come home” he said.

“I’m mixing all my songs in America and not doing any mixing in Nigeria. Do you understand? I want to do this properly. So that and other things plus my graduation made everything difficult.

“Then my graduation was for three days. I slept in Ogun state two days before the graduation day. I had the whole town of Ilishan, for three days it was for O.B.O. The love was immense. Even babalawo sef comot dey shout Davido! Anyways, I had to push back because there was too much at that time.”

“Now I want the Ramadan to end out of respect. Because I have a lot of Muslims in my family that wouldn’t be able to celebrate my album dropping”.

In the interview, Davido hyped his expected sophomore album as his greatest work yet, with amazing collaborations such as one he did with Timaya.
