Davido’s babymama absent at daughter’s birthday

Sophie Momodu, the babymama of David Adeleke, Nigerian musician popularly known as Davido, was absent at her daughter’s first birthday party, according to NET, an entertainment website.

The party took place at the Lekki Phase 1 residence of the musician’s father.

Many celebrities were said to have attended the party of Imade, the first child of the artiste.

Some of the celebrities were Innocent Idibia, Tiwa Savage and Jamil, her son, Peter Okoye and others.

There had been controversy surrounding the baby after her parents had a disagreement about her custody.

Davido had attempted to take Imade out of the country after accusing Momodu of smoking cannabis, which he claimed was taking a toll on the baby.

It became a tussle between the parents, with Momodu reporting the Dami Duro crooner to authorities.

Davido’s estranged lover involved her uncle in the controversy, which led to a situation where the music star was making jeering remarks about the publisher.

The issue has been resolved with a custody arrangement between both parties.
