Dapo Oyebanjo, the Nigerian singer better known as D’banj, has celebrated his 20th anniversary in the music industry.

Law Corridor, a legal firm, in a statement on Wednesday, congratulated the ‘Koko Master’ on the milestone.

The law firm described the ace singer’s career as a “testament to the power of talent, hard work, and resilience in pursuit of one’s dreams”.

D’banj was also praised for his ability to “persevere” despite the “challenges and adversities” he has faced, adding that he is an “inspiration to all”.

From humble beginnings to the pinnacle of success, D’banj’s path has been marked by perseverance, passion, and an unwavering commitment to his craft,” the statement reads.

D’banj ventured into music at a very young age but ‘No Long Thing’, his 2005 debut studio album, marked a huge turnaround in his career.

He has released several chart-topping singles and albums and earned a plethora of awards.

He won the ‘Best African Act’ at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2007, ‘Best International Act’ at the 2011 BET Awards, ‘Best-selling African Artiste’ at the 2014 World Music Awards among others.
