Aderele Oluwafemi Edun, popularly known as Denrele Edun, has confessed being gay, yet he has named Daniel Olukoya, general overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry (MFM), as his spiritual father.
The controversial Channel O on-air personality made this revelation in a Twitter chat with Kimani Adekeye, host of #KimaniOffAir, a weekly chat for reputable stars from all walks of life.
When questioned regarding his sexuality and if he was gay, the multi-award-winning TV presenter said: “Being gay is a tough job, but someone is got to do it”.
He further described himself as a sexual outlaw who would rather remain single than blend with the norm.

The 31-year-old Germany-born Nigerian said he had no piercing or tattoos on his body since his body was “the temple of Baba God”.
“No tattoos or piercings! My skinny body is the temple of Baba GOD o,” he said.
Denrele started his television career 20 years ago when he featured as a presenter on Kiddievision 101 on NTA Network at the age of 11.

He has since interviewed many world-class stars, including Akon, Beyoncé Knowles, Tyler Perry, Lil’ Kim, Snoop Dogg, Cuba Gooding, and Amerie.
He is largely credited as the man behind the success of Big Brother Amplified (BBA) winner, Karen Igho.
