Africa Interviews, an online media platform, is set to hold its inaugural sustainability forum on June 5.
In a statement by the organisers on Friday, the event is scheduled to take place at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event is themed ‘Leading Sustainability in Africa: Empowering Nigeria’s Green Future’.
The speakers slated for the event are; Deoye Ojuroye, executive director and chief financial officer of Providus Bank; Chioma Afe, director of external affairs and social performance at Seplat Energy; and Oladapo Filani, chief executive officer (CEO) of Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited.

Others are Lamé Verre, co-founder and co-chair, Lean In Equity and Sustainability and Ejiro Gray, director of governance and sustainability, Sahara Group.
The organisers said the insights from the speakers will cover important issues such as energy transition, innovative sustainability strategies, community engagement, and balancing the goal of achieving global netzero in addressing the continent’s energy needs.
“At the Forum, these distinguished speakers will bring their wealth of local and international experience to addressing issues and enriching conversations around sustainability in Africa,” the statement reads.

“The forum will feature innovative dialogues aimed at fostering sustainable development while addressing unique challenges and opportunities across different sectors in Nigeria and on the African continent.
