Jibrin Abdulmumin, former chairman of the house of representatives committee on appropriations, has arrived the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat to appear before a disciplinary panel.
He arrived the APC headquarters on Tuesday in a Toyota Land Cruiser jeep marked BWR 768 AM, at a few minutes after 2 pm.
Jibrin’s appearance at the secretariat is sequel to a letter on Monday, signed by Lawal Shuaibu, deputy national chairman North, and inviting him to the panel.
He said it was not acceptable for him to resort to media war without using the party’s internal resolution mechanism.

“As a disciplined party, the constitution of our party has made adequate provisions on ways of resolving any issue among our members, ” read the letter.
“It behoves on the party to take all necessary steps in order to ensure that no member of our family brings dishonour to the party.
“You are, therefore by this invitation expected to appear before the under signed at the APC national secretariat on Tuesday, 2 August at 2 pm.

“Kindly note that failure to and/or refusal to honour this invitation will amount to a decision you have made not to submit to the party.”
Jibrin is accusing Yakubu Dogara, the speaker, and 11 others of padding the 2016 budget by inserting unnecessary projects.
