The results of the supplementary election in nine of the 14 local government areas in Adamawa state are not in favour of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Jibrilla Bindow, governor of the state and candidate of the ruling party is trailing with 1141 votes while Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has 5301 votes.
Bala Mohammed, PDP candidate in Bauchi state, had defeated Mohammed Abubakar, the incumbent governor who ran under the platform of the APC.
