Manchester City duo, Sergio Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne, as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Manchester United, have been nominated for the 2016 Ballon d’Or.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who lost the 2015 Ballon d’Or to Lionel Messi, also made the 30-man longlist.
Juventus trio, Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain and Gianluigi Buffon, are some of the names from Serie A, while Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Toni Kroos and Robert Lewandoski of Bayern Munich are the Bundesliga representatives.
The 30 players in contention for this year’s award have been announced by France Football.
