Dikko Radda, Katsina state governor, has appointed Umar Bindawa as his special assistant on disability matters.
This was disclosed in a letter signed by Abdullahi Faskari, secretary to the state government, on March 3.
Faskari said that the appointment is based on the conviction that Bindawa will serve well and sincerely.
While congratulating him on his appointment and wishing him well, Faskari urged the appointee to indicate his acceptance of the offer in writing.

Bindawa thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve, and assured Radda that he will serve diligently.
”I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the betterment of our disability community. I promise to do my utmost to make you proud,” the appointee said.
