When we talk about accomplishment, we think about that which is easily visible to the senses, especially of touch and sight. Successhas been given so many interpretations. Even more nerve racking is the idea of what a person must be or do to be ‘successful’

In Today’s world, there seems to be an unwritten script we live by.

‘You can’t do this because you won’t make enough money.’

‘Don’t you want to drive sleek cars and live in a big housein……?(fill in the gap)‘

Parents decide ‘what’ they want their children to be–an on air personality like Ada who is successful because everyone knows her. More importantly, her mother who once was ‘a nobody’ now receives smiles and cheers, complete with a special seat in church on Sunday.

Children should not be mirrors of repressed desires and quashed dreams.

Young men talk of the day they will ‘blow’ in their music career as they brandish empty jargon (otherwise called lyrics) supported by oddly arranged strings infused with a familiar staccato drumbeat that does nothing for the mind and in a bid to show how much work has gone into their act, they call it- afro centric hip hop soul.

Ladies are no longer interested in values or soundness of mind but now marry ‘names’; ‘looks’ ; ‘cars’  or whatever else characterizes a ‘successful man’

What is unique about being you?

What skills or talents do you have? What have you done with them?

It has become increasingly difficult to be yourself in a world that constantly tells you what you should be.

Discover your gifts, passion and interests. Dedicate time to developing them. Find help on projecting them; Show Up!

Remember Freedom is Peace; Optimism is Nature; Action is always within reach. BE MORE!
