Raymond Dokpesi, founder of DAAR Communications Plc, has taken his campaign for the chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to Rivers state.
Accompanied by Kassim Oyofo, his chief campaigner, Dokpesi arrived the party’s secretariat in Port Harcourt, pleading with members to give him the chance to direct the affairs of the PDP for the next four years.
He promised to turn around the fortunes of the party for the benefit of Rivers state and for the benefit of the south-south.
Felix Obuah, PDP chairman in Rivers, assured Dokpesi of support at the convention scheduled for August 17 in Port Harcourt.

Describing the aspirant as a father, Obuah said delegates from the state would give him a “block vote”.
Dokpesi’s next destination is Akwa Ibom state.
