The Dominic Joshua Foundation, a non-profit organisation, has donated educational materials to public schools in Lagos state.
In a statement on Friday, the NGO said the gesture is aimed at bolstering educational support for students in in Lagos state.
The foundation said it is building upon its established charity projects focused on education, adding that the NGO is on a mission to provide essential learning materials to schools, starting with a donation of free exercise books.

“Education has long been hailed as the key to unlocking a brighter future; yet for many students across Lagos, financial constraints have stood as insurmountable barriers to accessing quality education,” the NGO said.
“Recognizing the critical importance of addressing these challenges, the Dominic Joshua Foundation is steadfast in its commitment to leveling the playing field and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
“With its newly launched project, #Sch5k, the foundation aims to make a tangible difference in the lives of over 5,000 students by providing support for essential examinations such as JAMB and WAEC, covering school fees, and supplying much-needed learning materials. Through initiatives like #Sch5k, the foundation seeks to alleviate the financial burden on students and empower them to reach their full potential.

“However, the success of these endeavors relies heavily on the collective efforts of compassionate individuals and organizations willing to lend their support. As the foundation extends its reach to Lagos and launches its ambitious #Sch5k project, it issues a heartfelt call to action to the community at large.
