Ugochukwu Ehiogu, a Nigerian-born defender, has passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Ehiogu who was an ex-England international collapsed at the training ground of Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.

On March 29, Ehiogu had tweeted that he gave a homeless girl £10 without her asking.

As the football world and fans mourn his death, the tweet has served as a source of inspiration to many.
