Bosun Tijani, the minister of communications, innovation and digital economy, has released a 31-page document for the ministry.

Titled: “Accelerating our collective prosperity through technical efficiency”, the minister said the plan will serve as a “critical launchpad towards a Nigeria that thrives in the digital age”.

He added that it is designed in line with President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.

The document comes weeks after the minister released an 867-word white paper outlining the methodology of his ministry’s collaborative agenda for AI governance in the country.

He said the document is “the first draft” and called on stakeholders in relevant industries to contribute to the future of the nation’s digital technology.
