Nigeria’s Under-23 team, the Dream Team, escaped plane crash on their way to Gambia on Sunday.
Goal.com quoted a senior official of the team as saying the pilot of the Arik Aircraft made an emergency landing in Accra, Ghana, due to technical problems.
The team may likely leave Accra on Sunday evening after the Nigeria Football Federation might have arranged new travel plans for them.
After the initial trip to Morocco suffered visa hitches, the Samson Siasia-tutored team decided to train in Gambia as they prepare for the African U-23 Championship billed for Senegal.
