Nigeria’s U-23 national team will face Sweden, Colombia and Japan play in Group B at the Rio 2016 Olympics in August.
That was the outcome of the draw held by FIFA on Thursday.
Nigeria, gold medal winners in 1996 and runners-up to Argentina in 2008, will take on a former gold medal winner in the tournament.
Sweden won the gold in 1948, came third twice – in 1924 and 1952 – and was fourth in 1908.

Japan was third in 1968, and gave an impressive performance in 2012 in London, coming fourth in a tournament graced by Shinji Okazaki, who currently plays for Leicester in the English premier league.

Group A: Brazil, South Africa, Iraq, Denmark
Group B: Sweden, Colombia, Nigeria, Japan
