The Department of State Services (DSS) on Wednesday summoned Labaran Maku, a former minister of information.
The Nasarawa state command of the service summoned the former minister for reasons yet to be ascertained.
Maku, who was a minister under the immediate past administration, was quizzed by operatives of the service for about an hour.
Addressing journalists after his encounter with the service, the national secretary of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), described his summon as “a good one”.

He said contrary to speculations, there is no plan by the secret police to arrest him.
“I was a commissioner, deputy governor in Nasarawa state and minister at the federal level, but today, I am no longer in position, but can still move around freely,” he says.
“That is bcause I served the country very well and refused to be corrupt.

“So, leaders should understand that the authority and privilege of every public office would surely end one day, whether we like it or not.”
Maku further condemned the recent killings in various parts of the country.
He urged politicians to unite in bringing peace to their communities “instead of promoting violence and bloodshed”.
