Nigeria’s D’Tigress continued their magical run at the 2018 FIBA Women’s World Cup with an impressive 57-56 victory over Greece to advance to the quarter-final.
The game against Greece took place in Tenerife, Spain, on Wednesday.
It was a keenly contested tie which saw the Nigerian side draw the first quarter 15-15. D’Tigress won the second and third quarters 16-11, 17-11 but the Greeks won the fourth quarter 19-9.
Evelyn Akhator recorded a 14 point, 13 rebound performance in the win.

D’Tigress are the first African team to win three World Cup matches in a row.
The team will face the US in the quarter-final on Friday.
