DTigress will begin their FIBA women’s World Cup campaign against Australia on September 22 at the Arena Santiago Martin, San Cristobal De La Laguna, Spain.
Sam Vincent’s team, currently ranked 37th in the world and fifth in Africa, was handed a tough challenge with the grouping.
The team will face world number seven, Turkey, on September 23 at Santa Cruz De Tenerife and 15th-ranked Argentina on September 25.
D’Tigress will camp in Atlanta, Georgia, US ahead of the World Cup.

Nigeria qualified for her first World Cup in 2006 but failed to win any game and were eliminated from the group stage.
The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) recently reviewed the membership of the management and coaching crew of the men and women’s national teams.
Some changes were made, including Sola Shomala of First Deep Water who was brought in to replace Ochuko Okworogun.
