Eagles draw again as World Cup preparations continue

The Super Eagles of Nigeria fought to a scoreless draw with Greece at PPL Park in an international friendly between two teams preparing for the World Cup.

Greece had their fair share of chances to win the match but couldn’t beat Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, who made a fantastic double save on Georgios Samaras and Dimitris Salpingidis in the 83rd minute

Greece had the majority of the opportunities in the first half too, with Lazaros Christodoulopoulos shooting a 30-yard rocket that just went high in the 21st minute and Ioannis Fetfatzidis dancing around in the box in the 28th minute before getting covered by Enyeama, who finished with four saves.

Early in the second half, Nigeria began to show some attacking prowess on the strength of Chelsea attacker Victor Moses (pictured), who made a couple of nice runs on goal from the left wing. And in the 90th minute, Moses hit a blast from just outside the box that barely went wide.
