Taiwo Awoniyi was on the scoresheet for Nottingham Forest in their 3-2 loss to West Ham in the English Premier League (EPL) on Sunday.

The 26-year-old made the scoreline one-all after Lucas Paqueta had given West Ham the lead in the third minute.

Awoniyi was at the right place in time to turn in Morgan Gibbs-White’s parried shot into an empty net.

The goal was the Ilorin-born striker’s fourth goal of the season after a spell on the sideline with recurring injuries.
