John Mikel Obi, Super Eagles captain, says Nigeria will have a strong start in the friendly game against the Czech Republic on Wednesday.
Mikel said the friendly game played against England was “a good test” for the squad.
“The game against England was a good test for us, we played well in the second half. In the first half, we didn’t get going but after the break, we started playing,” he said in a video posted on Twitter by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
“We scored a goal and created more chances.

“Hopefully tomorrow (today), we can start well and get a good result. I urge all Nigerians to keep supporting us.”
The 31-year-old also urged Nigerians to continue to support the team.

The Super Eagles will square up against the Czech Republic team at 2pm Nigerian time.
