The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will meet Australia in the Round of 16 of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile on Wednesday.
Nigeria finished top of Group A with six points while Australia defeated Argentina in a thrilling encounter in Chillan to seal third spot in Group C and in the process, eliminate La Albiceleste. Nicholas Panetta’s two goals either side of half-time were enough to send the South Americans home, with Tomas Conechny’s penalty, not enough.
The winner of this game will face the winner of the match between Brazil and New Zealand in the quarter-finals.
