Ebonyi guber candidate in 2019 election loses father

Elechi Elechi, governorship candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) in the 2019 governorship election in Ebonyi state, has lost his father.

The politician and businessman announced this in a statement issued on Friday.

Elechi, who is the president/chief executive officer of Deep Sensors Global Enterprises (DSGE), Abuja, a firm with special interest in energy, corporate commodity procurement and engineering services, described his late father as a disciplinarian.

“My late father was a man full of compassion, kindness, a disciplinarian, a community leader. His life was an exemplary one with great values, He celebrated his birthday recently in August 16th 2019 and passed away on 23rd November 2019, after battling with sickness for a while,” he said.

“Left to mourn him are his wife, Elder Mrs. Fidelia Idam Elechi, his children Uchechi O. Elechi, Eni O. Elechi, Otta O. Elechi and Nnennaya Elechi, Eneremadu who happens to be the Executive Director (ED) Cara Development Foundation, a brother, a sister and other relatives too numerous to be mentioned, He will indeed be missed by many.”

He added that arrangements were still being made for his burial.
